The blackjack table was not very crowded and only had a $5 minimum bet (which was good since we did not bring a ton of money). I went on a Saturday evening around 5 pm with my wife and we had a good time playing slots and blackjack.
The property is a casino, hotel and also has three restaurants. It’s in a good location if you are driving up north to the Leech Lake area. The casino is easy to find as the entrance to the parking lot starts where highway 371 ends (371 takes a hard left at the casino). The Northern Lights Casino is located about 2 miles south of Walker, Minnesota, about 3 hour north of the Twin Cities on Highway 371.
